Lord Nelson Beach 69 - RIMINI

Never have I had a worse insalata di mare/seppie or Piadina with Saraghina Radicchio e cipolla than I had at this very overpriced restaurant. Everything else, good or bad, was overshadowed by the other two disgusting dishes, both being an insult to those who understand Italian cuisine. Let’s start with the better of the two atrocities: Piadina bought in, not made on premises and dry and wafer thin. Each piece had one, yes one, sardine in it and filled with a ridiculous quantity of Radicchio/lettuce with little to no onion. Basically it was a piadina sandwich of warm soggy lettuce and no fish. An absolute mockery. Now for the piece de resistance, the revolting seppie salad. Served in a bowl, a soup bowl. No dressing at all. Every Seppie salad I have ever eaten has always been more or less the same Seppie, Carrot, Celery, all finely french sliced (julienne) then seasoned with salt extra virgin olive oil, and lemon to taste. Seppie being the main ingredient, followed by the carrot and then celery or celery leaves. This vile dish had cubed carrot and celery thrown into a bowl with a couple of cubed seppie put on the top. Not only, the carrot was also old and only fit for animals the centre cores were green!! And this rubbish was served to us. To be fair, the fritto misto was above par, but that doesn’t excuse the rest. Walk past, walk past, walk past. Don’t make the same mistake as we did

This is a nice restauration with good beach location and an unpretentious venue, simple table arrangements.

Mangiare con i piedi nella sabbia ha un fascino senza tempo quando si è in vacanza. servizio preciso e veloce. Il posto è molto bello, si consiglia di prenotare e chiedere ai tavolini da spiaggia (verso ombrelloni). Abbiamo provato piades, pizza, taglia pesce, antipasto freddo, panino americano. e per il più delizioso la crema catalana! tutto buono e ben presentato. consigliato!

Un'offerta valida di piatti di mare e terra abbastanza variegata. si mangia sulla sabbia in un ambiente familiare. servizio amichevole e puntuale. buona qualità del cibo. interessante alternativa.
