In dessert I tasted the raspberry pie on pistachio bed, it is a madness.Home always adorable, fast service and pro and very reasonable price for this quality. I recommend the terrace :)

So, after searching the local area for a decent restaurant I literally stumbled across Chez Sophie. I approached with some trepidation as not knowing the area t... read more So, after searching the local area for a decent restaurant I literally stumbled across Chez Sophie. I approached with some trepidation as not knowing the area the restaurant looked a bit like a holiday camp canteen from the outside, but once inside you are greeted with this vast dining space, absolutely huge! It feels very canteen like inside as well and on doing some research that's exactly what it used to be. It served the local major employer in the area and when that employer scaled down and left the current owners took it on. I'm glad they did. The service was friendly and the food not at all bad I had a salad which was very generously portioned and fresh). Ideal for lunch of a decent quality at a good price. Bon chance Chez Sophie!
