update 11/11/17 hey. everything. yes fratesi’s out did it again with the best bark lasagne spaghetti and their homemade brote and garlic spreads, which from this world is a very good place to eat. hey all first i love good spaghetti this place serves the best spaghetti and meatballs I found in the state of Mississippi. it is just a small little restaurant serving the best food. What User doesn't like about Fratesi's:
It's not good. Every few years, we try again, but still no. The Lobster Ravioli was on special. It had the hard yellow color and texture that could come from sitting too long in water or being frozen and reheated. The sauce was terrible. All in all, inedible. Absolutely delicious as always! Fratesi?s has been and will continue to be a staple date location for my husband and I. Pictured is the baked ziti which is a must try.
A great Italian restaurant with wonderful staff. The ambiance is like a little Italy. Restaurant is clean and staff was friendly and the service excellent. They start with complimentary white bread which was nice and warm with delicious garlic butter. The fried ravioli was a big hit on the table. We also ordered spicy cheese fritters. I personally did not find it to be spicy but I have a friend who was sensitive to spice and said she found it to have a spicy kick to it. The food was delicious and fresh. I ordered the vegetable primavera with pesto sauce and loved it. They have a wide variety of options. My friends ordered a shrimp pasta and a chicken Alfredo pasta and they loved their food. Ordered tiramisu and chocolate lava cake for dessert which were both delicious and the chocolate lava cake was decadent. Highly recommend this spot and will be back to try other options on the menu.
We have lived here for 3+ years and always wanted to try this place. Finally had a free Saturday evening and went (apparently not open on Sunday). The second we walked in I was reminded of the little neighborhood Italian eateries up North. Excellent service and great menu. The food was fantastic. Try the Seafood Lasagna. If I had one complaint it would be that the entree was brought out before we had finished our salads, however, that seems to be the norm anymore. Definitely will return.
Fratesi's is my favorite Italian restaurant in the Jackson area. Great food, great service- we have always been pleased with Fratesi's.
Excellent! Love the food and the atmosphere! We had the original house salad along with seafood lasagna, veal parmesan, and spaghetti and meatballs. It's always a win with Fratesi's!
