Tasty food and good price. It does get very busy during peak dinner hours. Be prepared to wait even with reservations. We been there a couple of times. One time we got the combo and got 10% off if paying by cash. View all feedback.
3.5/5, .5 for service__I won't kid, this place is pricey.
If I could, I would rate Ming Cuisine as 3 1/2 stars.__We were tired after a long day, and just wanted something to go for dinner to take back to the hotel.
This restaurant is always crowded. They do take reservations, but don't expect to get one the same night, or the next few nights. it's small and you might be bumping elbows with your neighboring diners. But the food is incredible! Seafood is always fabulous, especially when you spring for a geoduck, or Vancouver (Dungeness) crab, whole abalone or even a whole king crab, all alive! The BBQ squab (pigeon) is marvelous. To me a simple dish such as their house special chicken stir fry clearly shows the skills of the chef - incredible flavors. Highly recommended.
I was here twice before for dinner with two friends. The food was good but nothing like having a big group to gauge the depth of a chef's competence! Well, they passed the test with flying colors! We ordered 10 dishes including day-brewed soup (老火湯), duck stewed in plum sauce, princess chicken, steamed whole fish, lobster, scallops with mushrooms and pea shoots, grilled pork with bones etc. All tasted right on though just a tiny bit more intense than I would have preferred. The weakest dish was the 4 cold appetizers. With the exception of the fried tofu cubes, the rest were bland and uninteresting. Service was good and the decor, quite pleasing. It was a well-deserved 4.5 stars from me!
This is a tiny restaurant located within a strip mallit is always busy, considering on Monday at 700pm we still have to wait for our reserved table to be cleared before we can get itThe seafood is freshwe have a 5 lb lobster fried with cream saucea whole steam fish with crispy meat, impregnanted with soya sauce and green onions, the old fashioned chinese stylethe service was goodthe only minor draw back is the restaurant somewhat small ,you have a crampy sensation sitting to each otheryou almost have to raise your voice to carry out a decent conversationif you want to try this, make sure you have a reservation even on weekdays!!
