This has been one of our favourite Indian restaurants we have found to dine in with family and friends for special occasions. Menu items are unique and always delicious however the portions are small perfect for 2). This was our 3rd visit and we felt the service had gone down a little and the space was also conjugated compared to our first two visits.Kid-friendliness: They do have kid high chair option View all feedback.
What NicoleF doesn't like about Adrak Richmond Hill:
weird service is all I have to say. From the minute we entered the restaurant our main server seemed to have a very big attitude problem, like he couldn't stand to serve us or something. would not return as it was very uncomfortable. View all feedback.
Went for my bday. They played Happy birthday song. you could also order cake and stuff but we didnt do that. Overall, Very interesting (not usual Indian menu) and extremely tasty. Kitchen closes at 10:15PM on a Tuesday. The ambience was posh. We ordered the following. 1. Nadroo ki shammi Lotus patty. Very interesting. Taste and spice was good. 2. Kataifi paneer Mango tamarind sauce that came with it. I loved it. Tangy and crunchy. 3. For main course, we (family of 4) ordered lacha paratha, garlic nan and two rumali roti along with 2 curries. Rumali roti was soo hot and good size when served. Lacha paratha was soo flaky and light. loved all the breads. 4. Curries anjeer chilgozey ke kofta Loved the gravy. Kofta was a bit sweet so 2 people loved it and two people were like Meh. 5. Paneer Khada masala Loved this. Very rick gravy, correct spice level, good amount of paneer.
Went for dinner after 8 years… nothing has really changed, well almost nothing. The service is still very slow, the restaurant atmosphere looks out dated and the food has gotten very expensive. How do you charge $6 plus tax plus tip for one piece of nan. The nan was not even that good. Overall the food is just ok. The alcohol price is very expensive as well.. yes the prices have gone up every where but it should be reasonable.
Probably one of the best Indian food experience I had in canada. Service top notch. Ambience amazing Food excellent. We came here after treated horribly in other Indian restaurant nearby. Ambience here was very fine dining but casual at the same time. Every one working here was very welcoming and knows what they were doing. Unfortunately i don’t remember their names but the entire team including chefs working on sept 7th dinner service big shoutout to you guys you are the one who is making this dining experience great. Food was very authentic and the best food, I ever had in canada. Service was very precise and smooth. Ambience was very comforting. Couldn't take all the photos but will update it soon. Visiting again tomorrow. Cheers
The food was outstanding! We had a celiac in our party and the kitchen and server were very good at identifying what was safe to eat and preparing starters for the whole table. The service was sadly lacking. We were well attended when we sat down and ordered drinks and food. Unfortunately it seemed like our servers shift ended or they went on break because we did not get service for a good 30 to 40 minutes. We did not get water refills, no one asked if we wanted a second round of drinks and when we were finished I had to walk up to an employee and request our table be cleared and our bill brought to us. I would give them a second chance but we were only visiting Toronto for a couple days and won't have the chance. Worth the visit for the outstanding food, I'm sure our experience was a fluke.
Amazing place to spend some quality time with your friends. The service was commendable! Thank you for giving us such a great dine-in experience. Loved their mutter cutlets and dal makhani.
