Shagbark - Richmond

Had a good dinner tonight! the menu didn't match the online menu, but I told my wife to trust the cook. they had tomato gazpacho and groupers; I had an amazing beet and camembert salad and an excellent tenderloin with a delicious sauce. the service was well equipped for fine eating, and we are completely satisfied. very lively place, just so- we are back!

Once again an out of this world meal. Sitting outside, watching the sunset and celebrating my birthday with a bottle of Sancerre. I had the exquisitely prepared seared duck breast and hubby had the seared Salmon.over which he almost sooner. NOT being a big fish eater he's been on a mission to to try more seafood to see if he likes.it. Mission accomplished! picture is of the salmon; I was too intent on eating to get a pic of mine)

Food was exceptional. So good. If you want a very nice dinner you need to go here.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. The atmosphere is beautiful, slightly rustic. Waitstaff is on her A game, knowledge and pleasant. The food will melt tasty in your mouth (Try the steak). Drinks came out quickly and were delicious. I think the menu changes weekly, so don't expect it to match the pictures.

Great appetizers, cocktails and entrees. I really enjoyed the Shagbark Sour cocktail. The pig bell starters and fried green tomatoes starters were excellent. Also the honey glazed chicken stall was good. The ambience and decor are very posh and cool. Had a great time.
