Always loved the pupusas here, ample filling and cooked just right to avoid drying out. Lots of seating, handicap seating right at the door for those in need. TVs generally show sports. Features live karaoke on weekends that is surprisingly popular. Waiters are attentive, but can be delayed with crowd size. What Cecilia Morales doesn't like about La Bahia De Jiquilisco:
Had a really bad experience here ordered 2 pupusas with cheese and chicharon, the lady brought them back with just cheese, and had a really nasty attitude about taking them back, instead she tried proving her point. So I still paid for something I did not want. My family and I will not be going back here. Plus it was super packed the waitress bumped into me like 3tines without saying excuse me. I'm really disappointe... View all feedback.
Good food, good service, it reminded me of El Salvador, the first Latin restaurant that I feel at home is very nice, the next time I return to this area.
The food here is delicious. It is one of my favorite places of my family to get Pupusas and other Salvadorean food. The prices are decent and the serving sizes are generous. You also give you a lot of curtido and salsa so you don't always have to ask. The baby high chairs are very clean, which is a plus. We had no problems that our daughter was sitting in one of them. Last Friday we went and decided, for the first time, since COVID started and we had another experience. The food was still great, but they had a live performer who was really loud. We couldn't talk to each other because it was so loud that we couldn't hear each other. We had to scream in principle so that our server could understand what we wanted to order. Not only was this actress noisy, she was vulgar. I don't think I was willing to hear so many curse words of every other word during what a family dinner should be. It was 7:00! The lady's friend singed around and asked for money to support the lady since she was recently unemployed. If that's the case, they should have given her a job in the restaurant. That would have been more productive and less painful for us. We would have taken our food to go as we usually do, but we wanted to enjoy our pupusas while they were still hot and our baby started getting cats. If you avoid the experience we had not gone Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 7 p.m. Lesson learned!
Very recommended! I love all food served in this restaurant, especially rice zucchini pupusas.
Your Sopa De Pata is delicious! My favourite item in the menu. This is usually the only reason we come here. Pupusa is also pretty good. We dined a few weeks ago, and since everything we ordered in the past was delicious, I decided to order something else. I ordered the shrimp cocktail. It came out fast enough, but it was terrible. It was too much vinegar in there and the shrimp tasted old. Soup is great, but I'll probably stick to what I know is good. Lesson learned. UPDATE: We went to eat again, dine in, and atmosphere was great. It was a Saturday and she karaoke, and this time I didn't know to order the shrimp cocktail. Instead, I got the shrimp plate with salad, vegetables, friijole and tortilla. The shrimp was cooked! Also ordered a Michaelada, and it was all very well washed. The waitress was very attentive and looked after us. Back to 5 stars You go!

Parking may require walking for the driver, but passengers can be dropped off at the corner.Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp is a bit steep and can be difficult for those for walker/wheelchair bound patrons to climb on their own. Assistance may be necessary.
