My first time at the Glasshouse was truly impressive. The restaurant came highly recommended and it definitely exceeded expectations. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the food was both tasty and innovative, using seasonal ingredients. I will definitely be returning in the future. View all feedback.

I am quite glad that I have made this week an annual holiday, what with the excellent weather – they don’t say that too often when they live in england. my plan for the day was to have a quick lunch and then go to my local spa to enjoy some of the sunshine. I was not very excited to travel to london with the heat, so a restaurant in a reasonable driving distance and plentiful parking was important. unfortunately hedone is only open for lunch from Thursday to Saturday, so it was either la trompette or the glasshouse. I wasn't in glasshouse in a time, so I thought I would try my luck as a walk in the customer.
This was our very first Michelin star restaurant experience. It was a day of memorable meal and great company – a fantastic affair The place is quite laid back. The service was outstanding Amazing bread selection too. The first batch was freshly out of the oven, and the smell of warm bread just does something to your mood, it’s like a dosage of instant happiness We had hare tagliatelle, bouillabaisse, grilled lamb, roast guinea fowl, sorbet, and tarte tatin. Everything tastes fantastic. Beautiful intense flavour This place is NOT in Kew Garden, but is within walking distance to it. If you haven’t been to Kew Garden you should go and have a look. I’m not a plants flowers...read more
Octopus terrine starter was superb, with tasty cool bites melting in the mouth contrasted with warm clams in a crispy crumb, followed by wild mushroom tagliatelle in a light creamy sauce, accompanied by an earthy, spicy red Sauvignon. Finished by valrhona chocolate cheesecake with a lovely Hungarian tokay. Hubby had a delicious fois gras followed by sea bass with tiger prawns which must have been very tasty as saw him trying to get every last bit of sauce bar licking it! Followed by a light as air cherry clafoutis with passion fruit sauce accompanied by a luscious golden brown Madeira.
Cheese board. The Glasshouse has a fairly comprehensive cheese board lots of British cheeses, as well as some French and Spanish ones 01 Apr, 2011 Silver mullet with aubergine puree and crispy baby squid. I am sure Heston would have called this dish Rock Pool or Seaside on a plate and delivered it with an iPod playing the sounds of the sea. It was an amazing looking fish dish with a crispy baby squid sitting on top of a bed of silver mullet, surrounded by more crispy squid rings and olives.
When in London. I have eaten at the glasshouse too many times to have a favourite dish every dish is amazing The service is outstanding everything is wonderfully
