Kongee Dinesty - Richmond

Congee is the best congee I've ever had in Canada. The congee base is flavorful. The deep-fried dough sticks and beef intestines are crispy and fried to order. The fried rice noodles are dry and have plenty of dried shrimp. The best part is that there is no need to wait for a table. Just opened less than two weeks ago, with no advertising, so hurry and try it before it gets too busy! Open every day at 8 am!

This place has very reasonable prices for a decent breakfast. The service is prompt and fast. The only thing I noticed about servers is that it's a hit or miss with some. There was a very very nice couple next to us that was very polite and their server was a monster... I had to speak up for them since the couple didn't know how to speak Chinese. The rating was almost a 4 or higher but that one server was a mood killer.<br/ <br/ The Chinese donut roll was nice. The noodle is decent. The peanuts in the congee is my favorite. I definitely recommend the food here. This was a last minute stop and I must say, the food is comforting here.<br/

Looking for a brunch time destination with my parents, we went to “Kongee Dinesty”. They serve as a cross between a Hong Kong style cafe’s tea time and traditional Chinese dim sum. I mention that I was with my parents, so that you know to expect food and ingredients I wouldn’t otherwise order myself.

I love coming to this restaurant. It is truly an amazing place with friendly staff and delicious food! I highly recommend it for any occasion.

Doesn't get any better! Anyone who likes Canton food must try this place!
