The Village Cafe is a cool, divey little spot in RVA that has been around forever. The menu is eclectic and huge and includes breakfast all day. We ordered fish and chips and chicken fingers and took advantage of their super-reasonable happy hour drink specials. The food was perfectly fried and service was good. You get a lot of food at a good price. View all feedback.
We've been here twice now, and have been so impressed both times. The menu has so many vegan options, and as someone with a dairy intolerance, I haven't been able to have pancakes or French toast or biscuits at a restaurant for years until I found 821 Café! Everything we've ordered has been so good, and the prices are really reasonable we'll be back. :

Not many spots around serve a full menu late (after 9pm). Extensive menu and I've always had great service.
STROMBOLI IS AMAZING! Vegetarian options: Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu
Reviews say it all! Did not disappoint, great service and breakfast was very good.
