Always fast service and delicious food. If you can't make it to Nina's, definitely go here. Clean dining room, friendly staff, good food, clean restrooms, and nice patio area. Richland's best restaurant by far. The food always comes out so fast and on a warm plate. Never disappointed with the food or service here. The chimichanga is always a favorite. View all feedback.
What Charles Missant doesn't like about Pure Mex Mexican Cuisine:
Showed up a bit early to pickup my order. Paid and sat down to wait. My foot was sitting on a table for 15 Minutes with no employee notifying me that it was ready. I had to ask for the employees to check if my food was ready. Care free teenagers running the front of the restaurant and take out usually backfires . Be more professional and punctual. Just ok. Plain, American Mexican food. Too bland for my taste but overall I guess good for the area. Need a liquor license.
I got a street quesadilla and it was really good, enough for lunch today too ?, wonderful grilled and fresh flavor. It was full so it was quite noisy, the table behind us went outside as the music was loud and they wanted to talk.Food: 5/5
Pure Mex serves delicious food that is beautifully presented. As previously posted pictures show, the restaurant has colorful and vibrant decor, as well. The service has been excellent on every visit! We had a great dinner last night, but for the unexpected peas and carrots in the rice. Perhaps the cook formerly worked in an Asian restaurant? Unfortunately, not a good addition; fortunately, it didn't take away from the fresh flavor of my enchiladas!Vegetarian options: There is a good variety of vegetarian options, some of which can be made vegan.
We were highly disappointed in all of the food we had as well as all of the service. Everyone we encountered that worked there seemed like they absolutely hated their job and didn't want to be there. I was shocked to see tinga on their menu. Not a very common item to see on the menu at Mexican restaurants. Given its actually an authentic Mexican dish. However first bite told me that it certainly was nothing even close to what tinga is supposed to taste like. The corn tortilla was cold. The chicken was cold with absolutely no flavor. The al pastor burrito I had was a mix match of flavors that simply didn't go together. That was slightly cold too. My wife was very disappointed with her food as well. Only two positives I can say is the restaurant was clean for most part and the guacamole was fairly decent. Overall extremely dissatisfied with our visit.
