We came back last weekend for lunch. The waiter was very nice and polite, he was kind enough to let us eat with our beautiful dog and set us a table outside, so we could enjoy the Sunday's sun. We arrived a bit late, at a not-good-to-eat-in-france hour, so there were dishes that weren't available. Still our choices were simple and tasty and presentation was bistrot-like. We were satisfied. What interzone doesn't like about Le Provencal:
I went to this coffee/bar/restaurant to have a dessert and a digestive. The staff is nice but a bit slow. The café gourmand is 6,90€ which is very expensive for the little size of things it comes with. The chocolate fondant was not fondant . The hot wine was good. View all feedback.
The owners are a couple, wife is in the kitchen and husband does the service. Situated on a cute little main road in the town of Richerenches. A few tables on a terrasse , thé terrine was very good and the food was good. We enjoyed the fact that we were still eating and there was a storm, the owners invited us into the restaurant and we stayed until it calmed down. It was already quite late at that point.. We had the ravioli and the lamb chops and overall the experience was very nice. Owners are adorable. I do recommend if you are looking for a chill , good value for money restaurant in the region!

I also enjoyed the Rosé, it was a perfect choice for that almost spring winter nostalgic day. I also like this place since it's not like other places in Richerenches, who tourist marketed. This is a modest bar/restaurant where locals come to eat as well as tourists. Whenever there are locals it's always a good sign. Thanks for a very relaxed lunch.

Really cheap restaurant, and that's exactly what you get in return. All in all better experience than L'escapade which is priced high above, but doesn't deliver on quality.
This humble little restaurant/cafe was once owned by a unique older couple, who sold it several years ago to a much younger and more amiable generation. It is now a welcoming restaurant that maintains its former food reputation amongst locals and in-the-know insiders. It has been long known for truffle omelettes and the heady, sharp picadon cheese jarred in olive oil spiced with various herbs and pepper corns. It sits on the main street of Richerenche where truffle sellers and truffle hunters flock (on winter Saturdays), making it an always entertaining and always interesting side trip. The couple offers a 39 euro truffle menu featuring first a truffle omelette, followed by either truffled dauphinoise potatoes or truffle ravioli (both cream sauce based) or mashed potatoes, depending on the day. A fresh green salad with truffle oil and balsamic add that nice, fresh bit of green. Dessert is picadon cheese in an herbed olive oil. Other main dishes of the day included rabbit in mustard sauce or the small rouget fish. All of it looked and smelled good, but during the winter, sticking to the truffle specialty is a definite winner for the price. Great care is taken in cooking these simple dishes, making each worthy of attention. A perfectly prepared omelette is followed by piping hot and mouth-watering creamy, slightly cheesy truffle ravioli, a perfect fresh green salad (no shameful or wilted lettuce here) simply rounds out the richness of flavors. Such care in simple food preparation is not an easy find in France (yes, I said and mean this), making this humble restaurant stand heads above so many. A great salute to the able chef/owner for giving customers such food pleasure at a fair price.
