The Beer Cheese Grill - Rice Lake

Ok food, terrible service. Didn 't give us napkins, silverware, or menus at the beginning (we did ask for napkins and menus and got them quickly and easily but we shouldn 't have had to ask at all) and they didn 't even get the right condiments we asked for. They also took a bit longer than they really should 've, especially considering they weren 't very busy. The food was also nothing to be amazed at and even though we didn 't have high expectations for it since it is bar food, it was still disappointing. The mozzarella sticks we got in our sampler were basically egg rolls but with mozzarella instead of egg roll stuff in them. The nachos that the sampler comes with were actually just chips and nacho cheese in a plastic dipping cup. I should also mention that the atmosphere was very quiet and awkward.

Awesome little place for some good beer cheese soup and fish. As the old guy at the bar said, the food is great but the place is a little....eh...crazy... But the food is awesome! And he was right it was great food, reasonably priced.

Small, local place, feels like small town Wisconsin bar with food. Large menu, had fried mushroom appetizer, fish sandwich and hubby had Mac n Cheese Burger with waffle fries. Good service.

They made the most delicious hot beef sandwich and I'm a chef for 37 years because they toasted the bread instead of having soggy white bread. Everything was excellent

Had the wings, very good! I will buy again, They have a good menu. Drinks were a bit weak but still good. There's alot of areas to sit down and eat in this bar.
