this was an excellent meal and the best service! we were at the marriott and did not know what a jewel the restaurant was until later in our stay. the breakfast was also ordered and made great. make sure they know their marriott. status for a better price at breakfast. View all feedback.
What Lonie Farrell doesn't like about Trevor's Restaurant & Bar:
Atmosphere is friendly, as are the staff, but the food is a little bit and miss. First evening, lamb tenderloin with tomato crust was well cooked, tasty and well and presented. All good so far. Next evening though, was a different story. Starter of scallops (€14) was very poor. 3 tiny scallops, poorly cooked. The following main dish of porchini tortellini was soggy and oversauced. Sadly, would not eat here out of cho... View all feedback.

I had an breakfast buffet and an salad for dinner. the buffet options could be better considered, it is if they have bonvoy points, they can get a discount. the salate I had to eat was wonderful. only the correct amount of dressing. the bar area is also a beautiful place to hang when they are very friendly for the day with the bar offers. they remember their favorite drink immediately! I find this a sweet touch of the service.
Recently spent a few nights in the marriott in düsseldorf. I have looked at the hotel restaurant in the rule for some local, but in the first night I was too tired to wander and had the duck salad and a few German beers. we enjoyed... so much that we had in julian’s for the Sunday celebration. gans, venison has washed out with a very acceptable riesling. I would have to agree better with an earlier reviewer than their average hotel restaurant
Julian’s is part of the hotel courtyard harbour. To be honest, was not too impressed by the breakfast buffet (I have no dinner or lunch here, must say that I went hours during dinner and it smells quite fat). the options on the buffet are...limited and not necessarily presented to the most beautiful wise.
Recently enjoyed a three-night stay at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Düsseldorf. We spent a great deal of time at Julian's which was great, either for casual drinks or for a sit-down meal as we did on Friday and Sunday. Prices are reasonable for...the standard of dining and food was very tasty. Among gastronomical classic dishes like Thai red curry and steak and chips (or Bratkartoffeln for those of us who want to be authentic) there are plenty of German dishes on offer too. We sampled the roast goose and venison and were delighted with our hearty German meals. Service was always friendly and welcoming, boosting the already warm atmosphere.
