Wow, Mama's is amazing! The warm welcome from both the decor and staff, along with the delicious food, made for a fantastic experience. I tried the sweet potato soup and it was heavenly. The organic bread and hummus that came with it were also incredibly tasty. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mama Reykjavik:
So expensive, even for Reykjavik! Lentil daal doesn't cost much to make yourself so there was a huge mark up on the prices! The cake was lovely but tiny size for the price. The place has a hippie vibe, which I'm usually into but I found it also had an air of pretension too. Staff were extremely slow to serve food and it was cold. Probably wouldn't visit again but it did the trick whilst sightseeing. View all feedback.
Amazing vegan restaurant in the second etage about a spirituality concentrated clothing business. eating is amazing and lively fresh. the juices and smoothies are made to order and very tasteful. the staff are incredible and friendly and welcoming, they really made the experience that much better. really beautiful souls. would eat a lot of colors here if I stayed longer in reykjavik. also very clean inside.
A wonderful vegan place and is a must to visit. beautiful aromas and fusions. the staff was super friendly and would come back for more and more delicious food. menu always develops with new ideas and good atmosphere. just here and enjoy
A sweet little vegan bistro in the 1st floor: excellent coffee and the best raw vegan cheesecake I ever had. cool mood, beautiful view and a great place to hang out
Amazing vegan eating in the city of reykjavik! we got the dahl and the chili and both were so good! the personal was super friendly and gave us good recommendations. great mood also here. they go into the entrance and there is a business in the first floor in the second stage (there is a sign).
We’ve walked by Mama many times before finally walking through their doors. A friend of ours, who isn’t vegan and isn’t crazy about soups, skeptically tried this place to cater to his girlfriend — he loved it, and said it was the best soup he has ever had in his life Not long after we gave it our own taste, though we are much more into healthy vegan options than he, and it was phenomenal. We tried their main curry dish that the staff said they were mostly known for — and Wow! The flavors were amazing, and it was nice to craft the perfectly balanced bites with each spoonful. The sandwich was equally amazing, with the most flavorful portobello We gave the chef a big thumbs up, and shared a nice conversation with some of the other staff. It was a great experience and we will be sure to come again and again.
