This restaurant has a lot of history and is very cozy. The decor matches the historical atmosphere of the place. The room was a good size and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, there were some cobwebs or spider webs in our bathroom window and the cleanliness overall could be improved. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ye Olde Bell:
We didn't stay overnight, we had a wake there, unfortunately they did not provide the agreed amount of food, which ment people who had travelled for a few hours went away without food, the service was not good either. I did complain and they agreed on a partial refund, however, I feel given the level of the food/service for such an important thing that we can never redo properly it should have been a full refund View all feedback.
Absolutely excellent service ,food, and ambience. Staff could not do more to accommodate our needs as we attended a family members wake.nothing was too much trouble, and catered for all dietary requirements. Outstanding memorable occasion. Thank you to all the staff
Went to cousins 40th birthday party, great atmosphere, lovely venue. Food wasn't that great, some items had strange taste (buffet). We didn't stay over.

Went for coffee was £7for 2 cups a few weeks ago now £9 that is not inflation pure greed and excessive whilst people are suffering financially , realise the real world .
Met friends for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed, excellent meal and first class service from the staff. Could recommend it and will go again in the future.
