The bread is delicious (thank you for not charging for it). The French onion soup is excellent. Our red wines were also very good. The crab was not very prominent in the mango salad. We dined outside on a lovely evening, which added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. View all feedback.
What MikeD doesn't like about Beaujolais Bistro:
This is our go to for celebrating special occasions, and it didn't disappoint. We brought our friends for the first time, a couple that shares the same wedding anniversary date as us, and they loved it. The manager deftly handled a discrepancy in the corkage fee posted here, although at the new price we won't likely bring our own wine again. But the food was all fantastic, from the oysters I had as an appetizer, to t... View all feedback.
I always loved everything about this place. not only in a picturesque, peaceful opposite, it is one of the warmest and most loving places. eating is absolutely phenomenal and the wine is even better. the underground wine cellar really unites it all together. I am fascinated by the love to detail that the owners have brought to the restaurant. the staff is like family and the best part is that the owner is the chef cook and he will not hesitate to come by and check on them how their night goes. the unique thing that this place offers is that the menu changes every day. Something you would find nowhere else, let alone reno. the restaurant has large open windows to view over the river and even sitting places on the razor. what a precious stone it is. If you're not gone, you'll really miss my friends. go to beaujolais and ask them for a great cocktail and a delicious escargot!
My wife and I don't go out often, we have kids so we all know how much alone parent lol gets. but I've never been in such a stony, hidden gemstone. it was a little expensive, but everyone worth penny. the waiting staff is friendly and the attention to these customers was quite surprising. I'd like to go back to the future. Maybe I'll put the Patté plate in. so amazing. many thanks for a beautiful experience.
My scallops were cooked to perfection! And I just loved their mock cocktails! I had a virgin gimlet, it was to die for. Don't be in a rush when you go there, take your time and enjoy!
As always, our dining experience was excellent. The food, the wine, the service, and the ambiance are all top notch. Sure, prices have gone up, as they have anywhere that serves quality cuisine, but it's worth it every time at Beaujolais. We particularly like the Liberty Duck dishes, the fish (any of them) and the steak, and the four desserts we ordered were all better than the last. And Rosalyn, our server, was the best we've had at Beaujolais and the best we've had in a long time at any restaurant. She is super friendly and knowledgeable and shows the perfect level of attention. She never bothered us but also never left us looking for her. I'm sure she had other tables, but it felt like we were her only table and she was watching us all along to make sure we never wanted for anything.
Great food and excellent service. It’s rare to find service this good.
