We were at the Twisted Vine for lunch today and it was fairly good. Started with the blushing sangria which was very tasty. We ordered the bruschetta to share and it was excellent. Visited the restaurant after a paint nite event. The service during the paint night was not good and the server didn't come around very often. We could see her at the bar on her phone. Moved to the dining area afterwards for a meal. The server was very nice but new and was not familiar with the menu, but tried. Food was very good but the portions were small. The ravioli does not come with a starter salad or any vegetables - it would not be enough for a hungry man. The chicken Parmesan was a better serving but still no vegetables or salad. For the prices they are chart charging, and in comparison to other restaurants of this caliber, we expected more. The interior is decorated very nicely. They need to work on training their staff and giving enough food for value of the meals.

Interesting atmosphere. I expected more than a fast food style restaurant. Very crowded, was hard to find a table. Many of the tables are crowded together. Food was pretty good but crowded, fast food style restaurant was not a quiet, private atmosphere to dine. I'd eat here again but go at off peak time and get one of the very few booths to dine.
Had the Italian nachos which were really good and my root beer paralyzed was good but I ordered the sticky toffee pudding. It was horrible. Not at all sticky toffee pudding. It was was like a dried up hard nothing with no flavor. They better rethink that recipe.
Beautiful atmosphere, I almost forgot I was in Regina with the water view out the windows. Very classy restaurant, staff was professional, fun, and outgoing. I was the only vegetarian in the group I was with and the staff took great care of me, I would highly recommend this restaurant to other vegetarians. My carnivorous companions also enjoyed the fare very much however. I will definitely be going back and my soonest opportunity, this place is a true gem!
