It was a beautiful sunny evening and we wished to eat outdoors. We arrived without a booking and were shown to the patio which was through an archway of climbing plants and surrounded by window boxes and hanging baskets of flowers and greenery. Our server was very attentive, despite the fact that we were the only diners out on the patio. After a glass of French rose wine we both enjoyed the Frenched .rack of lamb; I... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Creek Bistro:
We were the only people there and I felt a little rushed out. We were there for an hour and a half and we're the only people there. I ate the bison burger which had some fruity taste and I didn't like it. The yam fries were very greasy. The beet chips were delicious. My lunch was around $30 I also had a mojito. Not worth it if I would've spent $30 at the grocery store I would've had a much better lunch. View all feedback.
I recently went on a business trip to Regina and was searching for a restaurant that offered more than just pub food. This restaurant turned out to be the best in the city.
The restaurant is still excellent, serving the traditional eggs Benedict with a side of fruit salad that is absolutely delicious. The service is outstanding, and the addition of fresh mint in the salad adds a nice touch.
Had dinnerTapas, duck onion apple pizza, and braised beef Tapas was okPizza was an abomination.
Took two friends to dinner. The food was outstanding - especially the bacon wrapped kd and butter chicken poutine. The main course was marvellous. That said, the server was pretentious and simply didn't seem to wish to provide a level if service that extends itself to the food. "He" needs to step up the attentiveness and take some ownership into the overall dinning experience. I will return, as the food is too good to let a small hurdle dictate the outcome.
Everything on the menu looked amazing. Everything. We shared the tapas appetizer for 2 which was $16. It had 3 items - 2 were fabulous and one was very good. The halibut cheeks entrée was excellent. It came with a good sized portion of julienne vegetables which were delicious. It was a lot of food - we both took some of the fish medallions and rice home as we were unable to finish. And, we wanted to leave room for dessert. I had the lemon tarts with raspberry compote. It was perfect - light because they came in a phyllo shell instead of the regular pie pastry. My friend enjoyed her lava-type chocolate cake (I forget what is called on the menu). We would rate it 5 stars. And we will go back.
