Oh Baby Sushi - Redwood City

A fun sushi place with a huge selection. They have a good selection of tuna and salmon and a fun twist of contemporary flavors. Sushi combo is a good safe bet. Only feedback is that the quality of the fish and the price point seemed very high. 3 dishes can cost over $100 including tip which was a but surprising.

We went on a Friday night at 7 o'clock with a line, but the waiting time was 5-10 minutes. for vegetarian we had gealterashi tofu, spicy veggie roll, call me nuts and veggie on fire and they were all quite good! the spicy veggie roller is quite heavy tempura-ed, so when they order this, portion accordingly, because it does not roll as easily as some of the other. service was ok- we didn't come to take our order for one because, they have made one of our orders, they forget to give us the ingwer and wasabi and the check-out process was not seamless as they took all our cards on the table and processed it after one

Besides being busy what it feels a lil chaotic, the ordered experience was good. the courts were very good and surpassed the expectations. the texture of the fish was satisfying, while the taste was fresh. although a bit pricy kept it good.

3 kinds of California rolls are AMAZING but 3rd time now was told 20-30 minute wait and took over an hour! Definitely waiting an hour next time before I head over there! Learned my lesson!

The food was actually pretty good. The service is so poor though that it was first time In my life I did not leave tip. They were not concerned at all with customers in the restaurant. They were focused on getting take out food out to waiting customers. Ignored us for first 15 minutes and shrugged off our repeated requests to get acknowledged. Finally took appetizer order and I asked if we should order dinner at same time. The gal said no hurry. She delivered appetizers and never came back to the table despite several requests to order dinner. Never go through that again
