What Yadira Hackett doesn't like about El Grullense Grill:
That was the worst Mexican food I ever had. We have chicken mol, chicken pozole and shrimp cocktail. The chicken was handy and clearly very low and the togo packing was anxious, with everything that went out of torn polystyrene containers. Nor do they seem to have listed the prices on the menu so that they can calculate a white tax?. These 3 things I ordered (no drinks) cost more than $70!! On DoorDash from the same... Large clean place with friendly service. Average food, I had a Torta Ahogada and 2 chicken Flautas, the Torta was bland and the Flautas were crispy andserved with lattes and sliced tomato.
The tacos are quite good. Service is quick. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Open late.
I have ate at the El Grullence on Middlefield growing up but moved to the south and missed it terribly. I came back to visit my hometown and found that they have really expanded with an entire restaurant and even more locations which is amazing. The tacos were just as delicious as I remember and I will miss them while I am back here in Virginia and can't wait to go back just to have some more El Grullense!!!!

On DoorDash from the same place it is significantly cheaper? If you want cheap Mexican that really good, go to Bravo down the street. If you get $70ish on food for two that actually delicious, go to Milagros in downtown RWC.
Great service and always the late evening place to get your taco.
