great food and service! only the question was the cappalini with garnel and crab was a bit light on the crab and could have a bit more taste. overall was very satisfied with the whole meal with the family. look forward to a return flight and try more dishes: View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Luigi's Italian Cucina:
it was very regrettable for many points: we waited for over 45 minutes for a table we had reserved. not only that, they ended us sitting on a shift table on the side. we wanted a bottle of prosecco on the menu, but it was not available. we asked about the scallops listed in one of the courts, in which they did not. we asked for q truffle chocolate desert that salao was not available. asked for an expresso, but they d... We waited a few minutes to be seated when there were only 2 other tables seated. The gentleman was nice (possibly the Owner) and he greeted us and sat us down in a booth. When it came time to order, my original choice (linguini with clams) was unavailable so I went with my second option which was pasta with fresh crab and shrimp. The serving was fairly small and I spent about 10 minutes de-tailing the shrimp and cracking the crab legs which has minimal meat inside. The pasta tasted OK, but could have used more flavor in my opinion. My partner had the chicken parmesan which was a very decent serving size and tasted great! We didn't order wine, as I am pregnant, so we went with fountain drinks, which they charged us to refill. The atmopshere was pleasant, there were candle lit tables, but the music cut out and we sat in silence listening to others conversations, which made it fairly awkward. I feel like this was overall an OK experience, but I think that this restaurant is geared more towards the older folks, seeing as there is a retirement center behind the complex. The food was OK, but I do not think that we will be coming back. It felt overpriced and underserved.
I had the chance to meet with Alfredo, the chef and owner, he does an amazing job, both at cooking and providing the personal touch, going to each table making sure everything is up to standard.
Had to walk out after ordering. 25 minutes to get a drink. This place continues to go down hull, fast..The waiter disappeared..
This place ruined Italian food for me. The bread was microwaved and rubbery. When pointing this out they did bring me fresh oven baked bread which was good. The wild mushroom risotto was very very salty, so salty in fact, I could only eat about 4-5 spoons.
Super delicious, clean, pleasant, excellent service. I really highly recommend it. Thank you very much, I loved it, it's my first time here and I'm very pleased.
