What hairyt doesn't like about Beefeater Reading Gateway:
Wow. Could I have more appalling service today? Waited for staff to finish chatting and this took 5 mins before I got seated…. (Female black hair and male with tattoos). Had to ask for a tea bag…. And also had to ask for milk….. I mean wanting a mug of tea at 7am isn’t unreasonable…is it? only 3 guests in restaurant so not busy at all. How can staff get away with this? The food was great. The grilled salmon here is perfect. Service was great too. Highly recommended and I am willing to visit here again.

Had a wonderful evening! Food was excellent. My boyfriend proposed and I said yes. Happy Sarah was our server and she was great.
Really great service, very quick, good food and great value. Happy Sarah couldn't do enough for us. Defo coming for a work lunch again.
Really friendly.The menu is simple but caters for a variety of people, there is a better than usual vegetarian choice. Service was very good, friendly and welcoming as well as efficient. Quality and price of the food was good. Special thanks to Happy Sarah.
