The food and service were excellent. However, when we arrived, we mentioned to the manager that there were some chicken fingers and french fries on the floor by the entrance. I thought she might not have noticed, but she replied that she was aware of it. When we left, the trash was still there in the entryway, which somewhat detracted from our overall experience. What Parris Vincenzo S doesn't like about Queen City Family:
Came here on a late Sunday night. We ordered a club sandwich, chicken Croquettes and the $8.99 all u can eat salad bar. The server girl was great, the club sandwich was delicious and the Chicken Croquettes were good. The salad bar was a big disappointment for $8.99! The lettuce was sparse. The hot bread box was empty. The selections were minimal. All in all a tiny salad bar inadequately equipped to be charging $8.99.... View all feedback.
I must say, been going here for over 20 years, my kids now adults and gone from home still love this place, went there today after a while not being there and my platter (Hungry man), was still amazing and yummy. Eggs over light perfect, hash browns perfect, the ham, sausage just on point.. Last but not least the French toast was just perfect!!... Waitress seemed new or shy, but job well done, and price still where it has been. Keep up the great work QC... Yummy food!!...
Good service and eating better. today all eat free because every year the family of queen does.
Friends and I drove here from down the street after a housewarming (of sorts , and everyone was pretty tired. Queen City looks like a diner from the outside, and (surprise! on the inside, too. It wasn 't deserted there was a light crowd for 2 AM so we were seated in a jiffy. Queen City serves breakfast all the time, every day, so I relented and got two eggs, sunny side up with Canadian bacon (yum, pork rol!l for the princely sum of $5.79. I scarfed down my plate of grease with religious zeal, an awesome friend paid for my part of the check, and we drove back to pass out. I remember our server (Donna saying, anything can happen at Queen City Diner . I forget exactly why, but luckily, nothing fancy did. Queen City Family Restaurant delivers. This is yet another quality Pennsylvanian diner style eatery with convenient hours and filling fare.
I was going to recommend this place until I checked my bank account and found that my nice brand new card (never been used except here) information was stolen. I called to try and speak with the manager, and they claimed a person with my name wasn't on record. When I mentioned a receipt they became even more rude, unprofessional, and argumentative telling me not to contact them again. 0/10 stars. It was pretty decent and I left a nice tip as did my friend, and in return my information was stolen. I will not go back. I will make sure my friends don't go back. I will make sure I tell as many people as I can to not go here because while the environment seems friendly they have a horrible person within their staff who thinks being selfish and stealing money from a pay customer is okay. Their manager won't help either.

Other than that it was good here and if I ever found myself hungry at 2a.m. and passing by here I would stop to eat.
