What Pink Crochet doesn't like about 802 Pizza Company:
editing my review to clarify- i am a 16 year old kid who has never worked for 802 and was told not to apply because he doesn't hire people who look trans, and i happen to be a boy who has colored hair and wears eyeliner. So the fact that he is lying and going down making up lies on his one star reviews proves how much he deserved them. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch View all feedback.
Edit: well I've been by this place 3 times in the past month. Closed every time. Can only hope and assume it finally went under.Dive pizza bar type place that has no idea how to make pizza so had to put in a bar with loud as hell trashy looking clientele. And slow staff. And lastly poor response from rude management to other people who gave low reviews. Going to encourage everyone I can to go to their competitor across the street. Hope they go under. 0 stars.
Editing my one star review to reply to the lies that the restaurant have posted about my former employment. I was never terminated from 802, I quit during a conversation with the owner (JJ where I confronted him for his remarkable mistreatment and disrespect for his employees, for unsanitary practices and for a remark he made that he would never hire anybody that looked trans . There were a million red flags that half the town tried to warn me about when they learned I was working there, and sadly all of it and more became true. If you really have to give this place your business or if you really need a job and end up working for him, make sure you keep record of all of your conversations. His behavior is bullying, he is a liar and as you can see, his bitterness will try to come after you two months after you leave. PLEASE NOTE- the majority of the five star reviews are from a point in time when the place was owned by a man named Al. Current owner is in his second year with this place so any review that is older than 2 years is not praise the current owners have earned. Most of the recent five star reviews are from his employees and his family.
Quick and friendly service. Able to order ahead via phone for take out or dine in. Usually ready in 15-20 minutes. Hours posted have been consistently accurate. It's always nice that they know my name and use it during interactions. Discounts for frequent users that set up an account. Large salad portions. My children like their pepperoni pizza. Bar has many unique beers on tap if you enjoy beer. Bottled beverages, liter sodas, fountain drinks and ice tea also available. Freshly made desserts available. Usually have a special of some kind posted and slices available. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly during non bar hours. Parking: Dirt parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: Several steps from parking lot to main entrance.
Pizza was runny, not totally done but onion rings overdone. Mentioned it to the guy in charge but he didn't seem to care. I haven't eaten there since. Have gotten it for the kids but the last time they said they didn't want to have their pizza again. Feels more like a bar
Got Stromboli with meatball onion green peppers and I literally dont think there was more than one meatball ctopped up in all of it...just lots of dough
