Babe's Bar-B-Que & Brewhouse

This review is not aimed toward Babe's ar all, this is entirely aimed at OpenTable. I've eaten here many times growing up visiting the desert and I love it here, food is amazing, staff is wonderful, always a 10/10 experience. Why my review is rated this way is because of the reservation system. I had a party of 7 booked on a Tuesday at 7:15pm. My whole party drove 30 minutes to this location and we walked up to the door, only to see a sign that says “Closed Mondays and Tuesdays” this was a dinner planned for my moms 50th birthday and we were all so frustrated that we had this booked weeks in advance only for the restaurant to be closed, and for OpenTable to let me still make a reservation and not have the accurate hours. I'm not exactly sure how they managed to not only have inaccurate hours, but to allow me to reserve when the restaurant isn't even open. OpenTable HAS to be more accurate with their hours and not allowing such a huge disappointment to happen. Makes me hesitant to trust them when making reservations.

Very warm in the restaurant. Wish there was AC or at least fans were on a little higher. I had initially booked my husbands and mine anniversary and didn't receive anything. Food was very good just wish it was cooler inside

Say it aint so... Babes is moving to INDIO?! Thats like moving dinner from the dining room to the nastiest toilet. Ill go ahead and pre rate it now with one stars across the board. Sad.

They're closing this location in a week and they act like they don't care about current customers. Understaffed and overworked, the waiters/waitresses are doing the best they can. Food quality is less than it was. The brisket sandwich was so fatty, it was barely edible. Yam was so cold it wouldn't melt the butter. Looking forward to seeing what might come next to replace them. Maybe someplace with good food. I definitely don't plan on visiting Babes at the their new location down valley.

My husband and I went with my Grandson and his fiancé. It was a great time especially because the ribs are the best!!! The waiter was exceptional, keeping us laughing and enjoying the food!!!
