Garland - Raleigh

The definition of a good meal is something that reminds you of what you had, which was good. The definition of a great meal, however, calls something in you that you do not know you would enjoy. Garland fits the last size for me. Not surprised by the James Beard love here. This is the best meal I had in Raleigh this calendar year. The trout and the cauliflower are both must-haves here. The top experience, I have to say, is the Masala boiler corn. In any case, you will not be disappointed with something on the menu.

My friend invited me to Garland Raleigh. It's the first time for both of us. Beautiful ambience with interesting furnishings. The food is amazing, delicious and very tasteful. The menu is turned, but obviously they often change. We had three small and a large plate included beet salad, lamb rolls, shrimps with Brussels sprouts and a whole trout. Every bite is amazing experience. The lemon cake with roasted strawberry brought a wonderful conclusion to our dinner. The price is a bit high, but it is worth it because there is a lot that makes these dishes. You can say a work of art through its preparation and presentation! A feast for the eyes and the palate.

Garland was great! We appreciate all vegan options and the service was amazing. We ordered everything vegan available and we ranked our favorites: 1. Slav Chaat all flavors and textures. Crunchy, spicy, chewing, sweet, savory. Delicious! 2. Ginger Sauteed Carroten the sauce was incredible. Spicy and Savory who went well with the sweet ginger carrots. 3. Vegetable Sambar that was surprising, but delicious. We were not sure what to expect, but the Idli was a great base for the veggie and lentil gravy base. Large balance with the cucumbers offer a fresh bite. Really good! 4. Braised Beet and Strawberry Salad was super fresh and almost reminded us of a dessert. I love beets so I loved the court. Something had to be placed in the last place, but that was another 8/10. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Garland makes excellent food – with the best local ingredients in Indian inspired dishes. I love their terrace seats since the pandemic, great ambience and always a great place to celebrate a special occasion. I highly recommend it!

We finally had the opportunity to dine at Garland. Overall a great experience!! Food was awesome. Price is little over the average I think for similar food/service experience at a comparable restaurant. Staff is great, anticipates your need and passionate for what they do. Kudos . Will definitely return.
