What Anon doesn't like about Tha' Dawg House:
Staff was so nice, like I felt like I was going to an old family runnion and seeing my aunt nice!however the chilli dogs my roommate and myself had made us extremely sick. To the point where we were projectile vomiting for the rest of the afternoon.(Not sure if we ordered the epicac dog by accident. )Staff 10/10 service, but if you want too keep your hotdog in your stomach id unfortunately recommend Sheetz. Up visiting from Texas. Service was decent, atmosphere was ehh...food seemed a bit blah. I had the burger and fries. Wasn't to excited about it. It seemed like a run of the mill burger. Probably wouldn't go back. But I could say that I have eaten here. I would tell people about it, let them try for themselves.
I wanted to see what all the hype was about since this place is always packed so we tried lunch there. Our total for 2 people was around $23 and we only got a couple items. They also up charge when you want to substitute a side, which is usually understandable but they “up charged” to the full price. The chicken on my sandwich was flavorless and dry and the burger my friend got was over cooked. I am a big advocate for supporting local businesses but unfortunately we will not be visiting again.

I ordered 2 gravy biscuits 2 sausage biscuits and a breakfast plate with a side of grits. It came with 3 sides of gravy for the biscuits and plate and each gravy was a different consistency. The sausage must have been 60% fat and 40% meat because it was so soft with grease, I took one bite and could not finish it. All I could taste in the gravy was Anise/Fennel from the sausage it was terrible, the other gravies were watered down so bad they had no flavor whatsoever. The eggs were not real eggs or were so overcooked I could not tell. The grits tasted like creamed corn but with undercooked grits mixed in.This is my second experience in 2 days as this place came highly recommended to me but I cannot stomach any more! The lunch in Dublin was not quite as bad as the breakfast in Radford.2 stars because it wasnt expensive but I basically threw that money away.
I enjoyed their Chicken biscuit. Their Tenderloin breakfast plate with eggs, toast and gravy was great as well. It's a great meal for a great price. I'm very happy to add this place to my breakfast establishment rotation!
