Uptown Pub and Grill - Racine

I recently visited this restaurant while traveling from Kenosha across the border. It is a nice place where I often stop while driving for work. The staff is friendly and they were able to accommodate my special dietary needs with 90% accuracy.

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and ensures that orders are ready at the exact pick-up time. The wings are definitely a standout item on the menu, and the chicken bomb things are also delicious. Overall, a great experience.

Always great food and drinks. Just if you dine in in the evening, expect to wait about an hour for your food after you order. So maybe pre-order before getting there? They door dash deliver so that's great too. They're well known for their wings but I always enjoy a stuffed burger from them.

This would be a great review because the food was awesome but I was overcharged. And I reached out to fix the situation and was ignored. It was my first time ordering. They had the 40 piece wings for $38. I asked if I could split the wings into two different flavors and was told yes. Before handing my card over I asked if it was the $38 for 40 wings she said yes. She gave me a paper to sign with no amount on it. I left and when I got home I realized upon checking my bank account they charged me $52 instead of $38. I reached out immediately but they were closing and was told someone would reach out in the morning. No one reached out until I reached out again. They said I was charged for 2 20 piece wings instead of the 40 piece. A whole $14 more because I wanted a different flavor. If I would have been told it was going to cost $14 more I would have stuck with one flavor. I feel like communication is lacking and they should have it posted on the menu only 1 flavor for the wings that way there is no misunderstanding and people won’t be over charged again. I wish someone would have tried to fix the Situation once I asked if I could be refunded the difference since I was overcharged they never responded again. So it’s very upsetting because the food was great.
