Was TFC at Zoricho a mag?
Zoricho is located at Level 2 East Lane, Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas Ave. You can check out their Facebook, Twitter, and Website for more information!!! We would definitely love to visit again and try their other offerings, especially their Longganisa Barkada Platter, and Super Chori Sisig. I’m crazy over Ilocos Vigan Longganisa, so I’m really looking forward to that!. : View all feedback.

One late afternoon, my friend and I got out of work early (a rare feat when you’re working in the hotel industry , so we decided to hang out and grab a bite. We went to this restaurant and started ordering, but a few minutes in, the server approached our table and apologized since all the food we ordered were unavailable. Frustrated and really hungry, we beelined to Zoricho, just across the diner we were previously in. It’s a good thing I just got my pay check that day, so I wasn’t intimidated much by their chic and upscale-looking interior. :D Here are photos of their restaurant in Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas that I grabbed from Gianne‘s blog since I didn’t have a decent camera at that time. If I only had Php 500 in my wallet, I wouldn’t even dare steal a peek inside. :D But don’t be fooled, the dishes on their menu are actually affordable. My friend had been craving for lasagna, so just imagine her delight when she saw one on the menu. A classic done tastefully, Zoricho Lasagna (Php 250 , with a twist of Zoricho meat sauce, was surprisingly good. The serving size was more than enough for one person (10 points for that! . The dish had a good play in flavor and texture, with its refreshing hint of herbs, the tanginess from the tomatoes, and the pork Zoricho bits that added a good crunch. While my friend craved for lasagna, I was drooling for some Fish and Chips. We initially had T.G.I. Friday’s in mind, but the joint was crowded and we were really not up for that kind of environment. Zoricho’s Fish and Chips (Php 250 is served with potato chips and their own Aioli. The fish sticks were typical, but the sauce was amazing that we ended up wanting a second serving. Upon asking our waiter, I already had a 50-peso bill in my hand just in case we had to pay for it. Good thing it was free! The restaurant was named after their house special Zoricho (Php 210 , which is a play of the word “chorizo”. Zoricho is skinless longganisa. You can have it as pork or chicken. I went for pork. It is served with a generous cup of rice, two sunny-side-up eggs, and some pickled vegetables. I found the longganisa a bit oily for my taste, but its slight heat and addicting flavor hit the right spot for me. Not a big fan of pickled vegetables as well, but the one that came with the dish truly changed my mind. I enjoyed it to the very last bit. We would definitely love to visit again and try their other offerings, especially their Longganisa Barkada Platter, and Super Chori Sisig. I’m crazy over Ilocos Vigan Longganisa, so I’m really looking forward to that!

This place is cozy and you can also enjoy your me time alone. The staff is also friendly. My friend and I went there last November and the place was cute. It's not really scary. Dainty pink chairs and walls with cobwebs. As for the food. I really did not enjoyed my lasagña. I was expecting more since the price is not that cheap. It's not awful though. The problem is that it's not really saucy (I'm talking bout the red sauce and the fettuccini). In all fairness, it's meaty and the size of the serving is just right. But it's a bit pricey. The chicken Alfredo pasta tastes good. So I had to taste my friend's food in order for me to satisfy my cravings that moment.
