What Camila Homenick doesn't like about The 6th Pool Bar & Lounge - Novotel Manila Araneta Center:
I went there at 11:00AM with my 6 vouchers of MetroDeal at hand. I asked the waiter how to use it and he said it had to be printed because they need a copy. What? It clearly states on the voucher no printing required. Then he said he is the only person there so I had to go to the ground floor to have it printed. Then the person at the ground said I had to go to 3rd floor at the business center to have it printed. I w... View all feedback.

My friends ordered pasta and the waiter said it would take 10 minutes. after 40 minutes still no pasta. So she had to take it out since she was only on her lunch break.

Made me forget the awful traffic and tiring day that I had. A must try! What’s better than a Friday night with good food and booze? Last Zomato FMU at The 6th Pool Bar and Lounge was really a fun night. I arrived here early as I wanted to take photos of the place before we start drowning ourselves with alcohol. The place is so pretty! It has nice couches surrounding the swimming pool. The lights and sound system are perfect for the place. Initially, I had one of their best-sellers, The 6th Sour (290php). It’s Midori, Angostura bitter, and calamansi juice. I truly enjoyed this drink. It tasted more like mojito, but it’s more than that. The Manager told me that this is liked by most of the patrons here. We were also served the following. **Frozen Strawberry Margarita (290php) Tequila, calamansi juice, strawberry syrup. **Frozen mango Daiquiri (290php) Dark Rum, mango juice, calamansi juice. ** The 6th Coffee-tini (290php) Vodka, Kahlua, coffee, almond syrup. Out of these three, I liked theFrozen Strawberry Margarita the most. It’s themost colourful and sweet for me. It was not my first time to try a coffee-tini. I really like the combination of alcohol and coffee. However, their classic Mojito is still the best drink for methat night. They really do Mojito good. Trust me. It was refreshing, and it has a nice alcohol content. I’m not sure, but I thinkI had at least 2 glasses of their Mojito. Not to mention that I already had much that night. It’s just that good!!! We were also served food that night. ** Tuna Skewers (550php) This was really good!!! Okay actually the meat was initially served to us well-done, and it did not leave a nice impression to us. However, they served this again the way it’s supposed to be served and it was nothing but perfection. The soft meat was melting inside my mouth. ** MurghTikka (450php) This came with their homemade yogurt and spices with roti and coriander chutney. I truly enjoyed this one as I’m a fan of this cuisine. I wish we also have beer that night as I used to partner such dishes with beer. Ha! I’ll be back for sure. **Pizza lungga with organic rucola and Pizza Bianco and rosemary (450php / 550php) I like the white one better but both tasted good actually. China recommended to eat the two together for a better experience but it was too late as I consumed my share already. :P The service was truly good. All our requests were attended. I also liked the character of the staff who assisted us as she truly helped me obtain a nice photo by holding my drink while I focus the camera. I’ll definitely be back for their drinks and for their Freedom Friday! Thanks Zomato and Novotel!
