Holes in the Walls are the best finds! Discoveries that surprise can be quite a delight. Don Andres was highly recommended by a friend and she was spot on. Owned by a Peruvian married to a Pinay, the food, I surmise, is representative of simple, home-style cuisine back in Peru. I recommend their version of Paella and their version of Kinilaw or Ceviche - actually, their 2 takes on squid are excellent, too! You know how well and properly cooked squid shouldn't be rubbery? These guys know their stuff. And their use of citrus-based dressings are topnotch! Theire other popular offering is the Tres Leches cake which was , sadly, unavailable when we visited. Alas, that's a reason to go back. BTW, street parking at night is a breeze.
