My friends and I went to this restaurant for lunch and decided to try their burger. I must say, it was the best bacon and cheese burger I have had in a long time - it might even be better than the one I make at home! I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the bun as well, as I usually don't eat it. I highly recommend trying their burger, as the food is delicious and reasonably priced.
Today we had lunch at Alamo and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, the homemade bread was unique, and the service was excellent. My husband, who is very particular about his coffee, also enjoyed it. We shared a sandwich and the kitchen kindly split the order before bringing it to our table, which was a nice touch.
This is honestly the best burger I have ever tasted. It was so juicy and full of flavor! I highly recommend trying it. The service was excellent and the meal was made with local ingredients, making it a quick and delicious option. Don't miss out on this hidden treasure!
We had breakfast- 2 different orders, both excellent in presentation and taste. The preparation time was a little long, as one might expect from well prepared food but there were lots of interesting things to look at in the restaurant while waiting
There is quite a history of this warm friendly gem of the North! The wonderful couple that own it are from the area and the owner used to waitress there when she was younger, now she owns it Lots of parking folks, great for truckers too! Great home style food! When you walk into this very warm atmosphere it kinda reminds you of home. With beautiful decor and charm. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. I had the mushrooms and Swiss hamburger which was amazing, cooked to perfection and the fries with secret spices were amazing! I had coffee and was pleasantly surprised of the robust fresh coffee! (Wow)! I don't know how they make this beautiful meal for under 16 bucks but I appreciated it and didn't leave hungry! My wife had this amazing homemade sweet potato and blackbean burger! OMG! Are you kidding me? She was floored how good this tasted, the flavors were perfect! I tell you folks, you have to try this place out, you won't get better value and friendly service anywhere, and I have been everywhere! Check it out, it's just 10ish minutes South of Quesnel on the 97C easy access to get to! Cheers.
