I have gone here a few times for lunch recently. Most everything is delicious. General Tso, lomein, boneless pork, broccoli and chicken, fried rice all good. My new favorite is the crispy chicken. The only item i didn't care for was the egg roll. Greattakeout. View all feedback.
What Saylor Campbell doesn't like about China Express At Aviation Mall:
I visited today and ordered the two-meat, two-side meal for $7.59. I felt rushed into making my choices, even though I was the only customer there at the time. I tried to clarify what sides were available, but somehow I ended up adding donuts to my order. I think the donuts were $1.99 for four, which brought my meal total to just over $9. The food was so tough that I couldn't eat it. The chicken noodles were overcooked and hard. My daughter even found hair in her meal. I will never order from there again. Instead, I will stick with 9 Dragons.
This place is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to this shopping center.

I tried to clarify what sides were available, but somehow I ended up adding donuts to my order. I think the donuts were $1.99 for four, which brought my meal total to just over $9. However, my final bill was close to $12. I was so hungry that I didn't really keep track of the costs because I just wanted to get home. When I finally looked at my receipt to see how everything was charged, I noticed there was no detailed breakdown of the items or their prices. The food tasted good, but I can find similar flavors at other Chinese restaurants. I'll be looking for a different place next time.
I found the chicken to be tough and inedible. The chicken dumplings had hard ends as well. To make matters worse, my daughter discovered hair in her food. I will not be ordering from here again; I'll stick with 9 Dragons from now on.
Over the years, my friend and I have explored numerous local Chinese restaurants, but none have matched the quality we were seeking. However, at China Express in the Air Travel Mall, we found not only the freshest and best-tasting lo mein we've had in years, but also delicious General Tso's chicken. Both dishes were perfectly flavorful and have become our top choice over any other local Chinese spot. We received excellent service with great respect, ease, and efficiency. We will definitely return soon. The lady who runs the place is incredibly kind and truly knows her way around the kitchen.
