This restaurant offers a range of experiences that leave customers divided. While some diners praise the fresh and delicious sushi, affordable specials, and friendly service, others express disappointment in the food quality and cleanliness. Issues such as underwhelming flavors in teriyaki dishes, scant vegetable portions, and long wait times tarnish its reputation. Notably, a few diners have reported finding hair in their meals, raising hygiene concerns. Nonetheless, for those who appreciate value and good service, especially during late-night hours, this establishment may still be worth a visit. Overall, diners should tread carefully in their culinary choice.

Was User at Ninja Japan Teriyaki Sushi a mag?
I have ordered from this restaurant a few times now, and recently tried the three roll special. I usually order late at night, close to closing time due to classes or work, and they always show the same passion and respect for their customers, even when closing soon. The sushi is really delicious and more affordable than many other places in NYC. The staff I always encounter is very nice. However, on my first visit,... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Ninja Japan Teriyaki Sushi:
I tried this restaurant for the first time and was sadly disappointed. Although the food was served hot and without any spills, the place was very dirty. I tried this restaurant for the first time and was sadly disappointed. Although the food was served hot and without any spills, the place was very dirty. The salmon teriyaki had very little sauce and sweetness, only a few pieces of broccoli and a small amount of onions/cabbage without any carrots. There was a lot of white rice, but not much else. I usually order a teriyaki salmon bento box from a Japanese place on 3rd Ave for just $2 more, which includes more variety and comes with free miso soup. It was a waste of money to order from this restaurant today. I'm glad I got a discount from Uber. I don't understand how this restaurant has such high ratings, but I will not be ordering from here again.
