Although it was very quiet in this place, we had a great dinner. The food, we both had two different Vietnamese dishes, was tasty and made of fresh ingredients. Very large portions. Most mains are around 10 euros which is a bargain for this quality! It is a perfect change of diet after a couple of German style dinners of sausages and other hearty pork dominated meals. What Leonard Kamiński doesn't like about Mekong Vietnamesisch Thailandisch:
We were four adults who came to dinner. The waiter was an older asian woman who seemed little interested and who did not speak German very well. Our German language skills were also somewhat limited, so ordering food was difficult. We succeded in ordering starters and main course and ordred beers for the meal. In addition, we asked for a jug of tap water. After some discusion, the waiter brought a glass of water - we therefor asked for 3 glasses of water more. When we had the bill, she had charged us 2 euro for each glass of water. She claimed that it was water from a bottle she had poured into our glasses. The food was very good and to a very reasonable price.
Absolutely awful the worst Vietnemese/thai food we have ever eaten. Our main courses were just swimming in sauce/gravy, couldn't really tell what it was. The soup I ordered for a starter looked like a bowl of custard, it was supposed to be a chicken soup. My husbands spring rolls were ok though.
