I was only in town for a few days, but I ended up going back to this restaurant twice because I enjoyed it so much. I tried one of the cocktails from the impressive menu, and let me tell you, they were not exaggerating when they said it was strong! My favorite cocktail was the train mi. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Chez Tao:
I ordered the fried vegetables with tofu and vegetarian spring rolls at this restaurant. Both dishes were bland and unexciting. The atmosphere felt more like a bar than a restaurant, with loud music playing. View all feedback.
Nice discovery. we were 8 people and let the server prepare a Vegan group menu to share. We tasted seven dishes and it was a pleasure. on the menu, the plant option is vegan and others can be vegetated.
We had a great experience at Chez Tao. We were a group of 4 vegans and the waitress built a course of 6-7 servings that we all vegans and that we shared. Amazing flavors, out of the ordinary. We really enjoyed our experience.
AMAZING restaurant! The food was incredible you gotta try those fried mushrooms the staff is suuuper friendly, the atmosphere is just perfect, the prices are very reasonable. Would definitely give 5/5 of it were fully vegan!
If you're looking for a night spot in the city this is it. Super friendly staff with an English menu on hand just in case. Some special accommodations could be done to the menu such as removing eggs to make something vegan, but this place was really busy so don't expect to substitute anything unlike its for dietary or an allergy restriction. Drinks were really good and the food was delicious. We had the Pad Thai (w/o egg) /sandwich (which I thought was going to be dry based on its look but it was amazing actually) spring rolls that were deep fried /and mushroom fried chiken that we ended up ordering again to go' when we were leaving.
This restaurant offers vegetarian and vegan options for all dishes!!! very affordable prices for flavors very similar to those of Asia: at tao is the place where to go!! P.S: cocktails are sick and most in very funky glasses
