Chez Ashton - Québec

If you want to taste the poutine that the Québécois from Québec City eat, it is here at Chez Ashton. They are pretty much scattered all over the city, but you will not find Ashton in Montréal. There's actually no good poutine places in Montréal. The real deal can be found in the region at roadside places called "casse-croutes". Here in Québec City, it is the poutine at Ashton that remains the standard. This location in particular is open twenty-four hours. So if you have a hankering for some late night poutine, this is the place to get your fix.

We went to this place at fist because it is open 24 hours, but once we tried it we kept coming back The best poutine I've ever had and the greatest roast beef ever!

Excellent poutine, good burgers, good service. only problem: employees in the kitchens sometimes touch the face by cooking, scratch. and don't wash your hands then.
