What a lovely little gem. Crepes were authentic (and delicious!). Staff are all french who speak their native tongue to each other in the cafe & are all superbly nice. Just felt like we were back in Paris! View all feedback.
What Dianna Deckow doesn't like about Gourmandise de Paris:
A beautiful cozy feel in some place.Perfect for a romantic trip. This was tasted for the first time the French delicacy in a French restaurant and it was not disappointing at all for a ham-based crepe with gazillion style of cheese. To try more crêpes. View all feedback.
I like the decor here. It is modern and interesting with different types of decor and seating, including outdoor seats, a couch, a stool and a table and the usual Grief It took a while until the menu comes, but the food came with a reasonable price, Grief The waitress showed us what to do with snails ???? And we liked it. If you do not know, take it out, leave it in oil for a while, then eat it! Grief Grief The net was disappointing, Grief My duck tasted like chicken! I'm still not sure! They have put a lot of mash, though I liked it, it felt like it was there to look bigger to the meal than it is Grief My partner chicken in the mushroom sauce was fine, nothing special. And the side that was a potato baking was a bit of salty, Grief We tried the crepe, we liked the creping skin, but the ham and the pineapple inside was only from the supermarket, Grief Overall, it is just fine

Under the glow of the Asian and pub food cuisine, I can tell you that it was a relief to have something else for once! Grief Gourmandise de Paris offers a beautiful variety of crepes and a variety of other meals in the main style to meet this strange French desire from time to time. I go on for the lemon sugar crepes (yes, I have those for lunch, judge me !!) And the board of meat, cheese and pickles. Grief Grief I had a few times problems with the service - in between alright, forgotten or false objects or wrong sums of payment. I'm either really unhappy or gourmandise has to scrub a bit in this department. Grief Otherwise, a refreshing recording is in the Pyrmont Esscene.
A sweet little crepe place on Harris Street. The staff are all French in a good way! They were lovely and hospitable. Dining here in between lunch and dinner meant we didn't have a full menu to choose from but just the crepes and galettes menus which was perfect as that is why we came here in he first place! There was indoor and outdoor seating. They have a large selection of both the savoury and sweet types. The La Grande Monthanarde (raclette cheese, tasty cheese, caramelised onions, ham, potatoes, chorizo & salami) Galette (made with french buckwheat flour) was lovely and crisp. The filling was generous and you weren't left hungry. The La Hawaienne (ham, cheese & pineapple) Galette was also crisp with a smaller amount of filling but it tasted equally as nice. The dessert crepes were tempting so went with L'Antilliaise (butter, raw sugar, banana, flambee with rum & whipped cream). I wish I had taken a picture when it had flames on the grill but was too slow! The crepe itself was nice and bananas added a sweet touch to the dish.
