Gator Shack At Babcock Ranch Eco Tours

Really really good food. Best Gator bites I have ever had. This place really is not your typical tourist trap snack bar. It is so much better than most regular restaurants!

Today was an amazing experience. We passed by on chance because of convenience. We thought well if the food isn't amazing at least will get a good scenic experience. Well let me tell you that the scenery ended up being the last thing on our minds. The food was beyond good to the point that I had to mention to the cook it was the absolute best flounder I had ever tasted ! My friend as you can tell from the pictures was also raving about how delicious the food was. As if that wasn't enough Rebecca the waitress) and Kerry The chef) were amazingly sweet, and attentive to us as consumers.In all honesty our experience couldn't have been better, because of this I now intend on establishing a habit of passing through this area hungry on purpose when I know I'm headed this way ?

Highly recommend the buggy tour! 1.5 hours long but highly worth it. The tour guide driver was very informative and safe. Would do it again!

Please update your online hours. I just drove 35 minutes to get something to eat and the place has a piece of paper on the window saying it is closed.super frustrating now i have to drive back and 1 hour to find a different place

We had a blast. We had contemplated an air boat ride or the eco tour and we are very happy we chose the eco tour. It's cheaper, longer and we were able to see so many different animals from cows, hogs,snakes, alligators, turtles and raccoons. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. We will for sure be coming back again on our next trip to florida! -Minnesota
