Should have seen the favourite dishes people order here before only!! Though happy with the ambience and vibes this place has.. Interiors are cool,low on light..Service is slow..Food is ok and actually taste doesn't matter much when your favorite people are around on a Saturday evening.. After a hectic day of antique furniture shopping in Pondicherry we stepped into Dis&dis and Co. after being impressed by the location and the reviews online... They have both indoor and outdoor seating... we opted to sit indoors as it was scorching hot in the afternoon... We decided to try out their speciality which is beef carbonara and grilled chicken served with mashed potatoes, grilled veggies and gravy... They toook forever to get our order... every time we asked they kept saying 2minutes... First the beef carbonara arrived... it was alright... nothing special for the price we pay... The grill chicken was terrible... it was a huge chuck of chicken which was tough and bland... definitely not worth the price again... highly disappointed... Will never visit the place again...
Lovely ambience and good service. A little expensive for Pondicherry standards. We ordered tequila sunrise which was so-so. The tandoori veg platter tasted good but was more full of cauliflower and broccoli than the promised mushrooms and potato. Main course was veg grill and tenderloin steak. Both were very good. We asked for the seafood grill but apparently the price for that keeps going up and down (not mentioned on menu) and the asking price for today was 1100 or so ! (2.5 times if what was mentioned in the menu). We didn't try dessert. The easygoing ambience and music kept us there long without realising how much time we had been there.
The ambience is very serene and chilled out. It's closer to Rock beach that makes it easy for you to just take a stroll on beach and come here for good food and drinks. Totally Recommended!
Ambience is decent but food can disappoint you if you are not lucky enough to order the right dishes. We were lucky until we ordered the cheese garlic bread which made me write this review. It took 30 mins for it to reach our table and then pissed us off big time. We got a nice deal on bira though !
Great food tried the sizzler, it was great. The aura is even better.. if you come to pondicherry, come and calm yourself in this serene place.. kudos. :)
