Stopped by Roma for the 1st time to try the pizza. Went on a weekday and had an enjoyable experience. They have a nice brick oven and a ton of prepared foods. I went with a meatlovers pizza and washed it down with a Perroni. The pizza was good. Enjoyed the sauce, cheese and toppings. Not a huge fan of meatballs in general on pizza, would omit that next time. Pizza had a little more flop than I like and was a little d... View all feedback.
What Denise D doesn't like about Trattoria Roma:
If there was a 0 star this restaurant would definitely be getting it. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich which was very greasy. In the garbage it went. Then I ordered these veggie spring rolls. They were in a 1/2 inch of grease at the bottom of the container. I took them out to maybe save them and put them on paper towels to soak the grease up. But there was no saving these! I can't believe a long time restaurant on... View all feedback.
Great Italian place! Has pastries, sandwiches, pizzas and much more to offer. The sandwich I had was pretty good, but what really captured me was the pizza! Great crust, not overcooked, and they very clearly use real mozzarella and it all blends together so well. Definitely check it out. My only complaint is that it seemed like a lot of people were on break when I went in, but a lot more were working when I left. Must have just been a lull.
I live in Arizona and when I’m in town I always eat a ton of Italian subs, I had a dinner reservation across the street and brought a cooler to grab a sub to go. They were literally closing the door and welcomed me in and were so friendly and happy to help a tourist wanting a great sub! Amazing customer service, the lovely women at the counter were sofriendly and the gentleman who made my sub did a great job!
Whoever the tall white guy is …. I walked in wanting a salad. He completely ignored me .. another person came out and asked me what I wanted. The white guy turned around gives me the biggest attitude and tells me he doesn’t know how to make a Greek salad. Storms off in the back after I just drove in from New York City. This is the place where I come to get food, and I’m treated like this? Do better. ???????Edit: I talked to the manager and he just laughed the whole time I’m telling him what happened. Then defends the employee saying everyone can have a bad day . Yes, of course. But not at the expense of paying customers… did not offer anything besides to come back and him make me a salad. Why would I go back? especially nothing on the house to make it right.. bad for business!
Nice bakery with helpful staff. Loved their super light ricotta filled pastriesFood: 4/5
This might be one of my favorite places in the world! We have been going there for 30 years. Every time we go there I get a big smile on my face. The food and selection is fantastic! I feel like I’m in Italy! The atmosphere is very casual. It’s a deli you can eat at. I can never leave without getting a pint of stuffed peppers to go! You will not be disappointed!
