What Gregory Willms doesn't like about Shanghai:
Mediocre food, abysmal customer service. The food is not terrible, but the customer service is awful. The staff are rude, inconsiderate, and disrespectful, especially if you are a take-out customer. View all feedback. What Agnese Galfetti likes about Shanghai:
Really good food! I got Crab Rangoon and Chicken Pad Thai and both were delicious. They were ready very quickly and tasted fresh. You get tons of crab rangoons and super yummy sauce. I absolutely loved the pad thai! Highly recommend this place! The amount of food you get for what you pay is phenom! View all feedback.

While some praise the beautiful ambiance, delicious food like scallion pancakes and spicy noodles, and attentive service, others express disappointment with the mediocre food quality and poor customer service. However, the majority of reviewers seem to enjoy the convenient location, tasty dishes like Beef Teriyaki and Chicken Shrimp Pad Thai, and the option to dine in, take out, or grab a quick meal at the service counter. Overall, Shanghai on Thayer Street appears to be a popular spot for a variety of dining experiences, offering a mix of positive and negative aspects for customers to consider.
