Loved the idea the name of this place!! Small bites?? Tried the beef and lamb gyro and it was so good!! The Garlic sauce was topnotch and the gyro meet was very tasty but could be even better if it had less salt.?? Staff were fast in taking orders preparing the food?? Overall: good experience will be back soon! ???????????? View all feedback.
What Bonnie Holopirek doesn't like about Local Greek:
Gyro platter was okay but unfortunately the receipt had it priced higher than the price on the posted menu. My friend caught it on the receipt. The guy gave me most of the difference in cash. They should decide if it's $15.95 or $18.95. The gyro didn't seem as tasty as in the past but they are opening a lot of restaurants so perhaps they need to regroup. View all feedback.
The gyro I ordered for lunch today, and was seriously looking forward to, was hands down the worst gyro I have ever had! The tzatziki sauce was tasteless, there was no lettuce... and who in the world puts french fries in a gyro?! I gave one star because it wouldn't let me leave no stars.
Breakfast is very, very good. We like the lunch options too the portions are generous and the food is made to order. The ingredients are always fresh, the staff is friendly and attentive.
I was unsure what adventures awaited me when I decided to travel to Princeton for a non Winter existent Farmers Market at the train station. My battery was at 10% and I was just wanting a coffee shop to charge my phone and grab a coffee. I am so happy I accidentally walked into Eat Greek Bites, cause oh my Pita! I ordered the Avocado Pita and it just melted into my mouth! Who knew that Pita could be this fluffy, delicious, and whole grain terrific! The coffee is delicious too and made with kindness and love. The man was going to let me sit here and charge my phone, but when in the American Greece of Princeton, you pita, right!? I’m glad I did, and I get a great view of the amazing Princeton University. Delicious bites indeed. Oh the places you will go when venturing into the unknown ?
Food here is amazing! Everyone is always so friendly! I enjoy stopping here when in Princeton.
Our family of 7 visited with reservations on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was friendly and attentive. The choices on the menu were plentiful. Two of us ordered the Avgolemono soup which is a chicken, egg, and lemon based soup. It was not good. It was a bland murky chicken soup with absolutely no lemon, no seasoning and no egg. One of the servings was warm and the other was scolding hot. At $10 each, we regret that we did not have them take these two soups back and credit our bill. We ordered an array of other Greek dishes. They were OK not anything special. One of us ordered the Moussaka. It came as a casserole. It was small and as another reviewer said, it did not come with anything else and cost around $23 25. The atmosphere is nice the food is OK not necessarily high quality Greek. I will say that we did order several desserts and they all were good.
