I have eaten here several times, mostly supper and a couple times for breakfast. We usually come on Tuesdays for their Wing Night. It's a great local restaurant. It is not a fancy restaurant with fancy food, just serves really good food! Friendly staff! View all feedback.

I learned about this restaurant from my sister and her husband. The atmosphere was delightful with lovely Arabic music and excellent service. We ordered lentil soup and some kebbeh, which were delicious. View all feedback.
We biked up over hill and dale to get a coffee in Mallorytown but the restaurant was closed on a Saturday afternoon

The place is close (5 minutes walk) from the KOA campground, so we went there for dinner. It doesn't look like much from the outside, the inside also looks average. But the food was absolutely worth the visit. Simple dishes, easy presentation, nothing special. But extremely delicious. Yummy! Would go there again.
I met up with a friend from out of town at this convenient meeting point. One or two other parties came and went on the Saturday morning when we visited, but it was pretty quiet. The service was quite friendly, and our food met our satisfaction. The prices were great - $6 for a basic breakfast! Note that the restaurant feels, at least, to be isolated on a country road; we sort of stuck out like sore thumbs since we weren't locals. Note also that there is some lovely artwork, but no waterfront, which the image on this listing may suggest.
We had dinner there several years ago when the new owner reopened the restaurant. While my husband was eating mediocre at best food, he found a thumb tack in his fish. We advised the server who made an excuse that they keep a pinboard above the fryer. (Really!!) No real apology from the server or the owner.Today a friend asked me to meet there for a quick meeting. I hesitated but agreed. It did not start well when I asked for a decaf coffee, the server responded that they would see if they had any in the back as she didn't know if they had. I told her that instant or brewed was fine. She came back and told me that she had found some in the FREEZER and half was thawed and half frozen, so not sure how it would taste. Not what you want to hear, how do they freeze other things there? I ordered a simple BLT sandwich as I was still wary about the quality of the food, especially after the coffee incident. Friend ordered chicken fingers and fries. After a 35 minute wait, the food arrived. The chicken fingers and fries were both dark brown and hard/overcooked, the meat dry and hard around the edges. The bacon on my sandwich tasted odd and I asked if they had dropped the bacon in the fryer, the server said that they do and they also need to change the oil in the fryer so maybe that's why it tasted that way. REALLY!!That is the last time that I give them a chance, too bad.
