Cozy place, nice service, clean place, but simple menu with little choice. Disproportionate price for a fricus (60 euro) for 6 people who, although good, too small (one fettina per head). .and an appetizer with 1 slice (real) of raw ham, 2 slices of salami 1 slice of bacon and two strips of cheese paid to gold weight (8 euro per head). Frasca for products but jewellery prices. Not good. Disappointed. View all feedback.

Local a little difficult to find, as there is no indication: you have to rely on the civic number and enter a private road to get to the courtyard of the farm. The environment is clean and well-kept, the tables covered by disposable tablecloths and paper napkins, as it happens in a straw. That's all right. The menu has little choice, moreover it is a bait and we came to eat fried and sliced, mainly! I saw the prices I imagined some gigantic portions..., but it's not like that! Appetizers: polenta with 2 slices of ham, 3 of salami, 2 of bacon with 2 pieces of fresh cheese 8 euro per head Seconds: 2 dishes with 2 fries to divide in 6 10 (I say ten!! euro per head... a portion of rabbit with 3 pieces of meat 12 euro Contorns: 1 portion of salad and 1 of brovada 5 euro the one sweets: or crustem 4 euro Drinks: 5 bottles from liter of mineral water and 2 glass of wine passito 25 euro.... Covered 1 euro and coffee 1 euro Dolce/strudel apart was all good, in particular the frico, but too small portions for the prices that apply and for a farm/horse. Limited choice.
There are places where km 0 is written in the blood because it is for generations that you know what are the products close to home that make your kitchen unique. The garden radicchio at km (this time not 0 luck) from the city; the cheese of one of the oldest dairies of Friuli, the polenta with the big flour, the goose meat or rabbit of the courtyard. And then the wine: a few rows, you can count them, hand-picked with friends, a poem, a care, attention to tradition and only small technical innovations, always with the wise patrimony of the old peasants. Here the barriqe has never passed because the wine that knows about wood only means that you have wronged the times in the barrels. Add the love of a mother who cooks for everyone as if eating were always his loved ones: intense flavors, calorie ingredients that warm your soul from within, giving you in face that red color that we often forgot in the polluted citizens coffee. From Di Gaspero to Spessa di Cividale del Friuli the time stopped: you eat what is there, you do not run the fashions, but you renew the passion for simple tastes. Few dishes: soup in winter evenings, rabbit or goose, a muse if it happens, raw ham, a guarantee, sweet cheese on the palate, fresh frittata with herbs, polenta crusca under the teeth and a frico with potatoes to make the certainties of a fervent crudist tremble. The steward will not speak much, but do not be afraid to have been ineducated; from Di Gaspero to pronounce words are the horny taste buds of the adventurous that to the warm of the fireplace, with in the hands a red of rare intensity that goes down cozy, can not help to feel at home, finally scrambled and inebriated by a sense of fullness and freedom that did not feel since the balloon ended. You could happen there by chance, along the sinuous road of wine from Cormons to Cividale, but it is better to be honest before it is open: this is an authentic land, opens when the land allows it and drinks only moka coffee, with a tenth of a candida and round grappa.
We ate well, the food is quality, the portions are right, the cost slightly above the average but there is, also seen the environment very nice. The wine of the house, unless you order it in bottle, is served in glasses, do not bring it, as they do in any farm on the planet, in a jug, do not leave it on the table. You want wine? You ask and you need them (among other things with this system we drank much less than we would have done otherwise. Empathy? The smile? Completely rolling. He seems to be bothered. Moreover the place is literally impossible to locate, located behind another building, you do not see a light from the street, darker. Not a sign, a sign, neither Maps helps (i.e., but come on, at least at the time of booking give some indication no?! . We traveled at least 10 km further in an attempt to locate it, up and down the road, but vabè, we will be prevented. At the time of payment they did not accept either ATM or Credit Card. I think it is not necessary to comment further on this. Fortunately, we had some cash and we could settle the bill. I mean, as adventors, we felt a little bit eager around.
