The location is fantastic. The food is typical deep-fried fare. We came primarily for the view, and it’s a great spot to watch the sunset. The prices for the food were reasonable for what we ordered. View all feedback.
What Mark Brigham doesn't like about Winneshiek Grill:
Good place. Open air deck, and bar overlooking marina. Limited beer selection, and they serve beer in plastic cups which is a turn-off for me. If I go out to enjoy a pint of draft beer, I much prefer it served in a glass rather than a piece of plastic trash. Do better. View all feedback.
The food was tasty and I loved the patio off the water. Service was on the slow side. All told it was a good experience.

The food here is pretty good and the staff are friendly. Nice view of Mississippi River from the back of the restaurant.
Great view of the water and helpful service. The food was decent. I do not recommend cheese cures, but the Big Winnie Burger was delicious and very full.
Food is typical bar and grill. Boneless wings and sweet potatoe wedges were good. Bartender was attentive and made very good drinks. Great scenery right on the River. Will certainly come back.
