The Tavern - Prague

I tried both vegan burgers. Both were tasty. Cool place to sit in, good service, nice cocktails. Reasonably priced. Would definitely come back.

I had the magic mushroom burger with fries and a pilsner! My friend had a veggie burger. Honestly our burgers were so good we didn’t talk for the whole meal because we were just scoffing them Get the magic mushroom burger it is sooo good and has truffles

I've never actually eaten at the Tavern and only gotten deliveries from them. The magic mushroom truffle and swiss is excellent. They use beyond meat for the burger and it comes topped with a great cheese sauce, pickles, onions and sauteed mushrooms. The portion of fries is generous and they're really well seasoned. The chicken poppers make for a great snack too but I do find it a bit weird that they come on a bed of lettuce. I've tried the 2 chicken burgers too but they weren't as good as the other one. #Veganuary I have now visited in person. It was busy on a Friday night so a booking is recommended. It was good to have everything fresh and hot, the chicken poppers especially seemed much better for it. Updated from previous review on 2024-01-14

I love burgers from The Tavern, they're my favourite in Prague. My top choice is the magic mushroom truffle and Swiss burger, which is a Beyond Meat patty with lovely mushrooms and cheesy sauce. It's really tasty, and not too sloppy or messy to eat. The fries are also some of the best in Prague for me, really beautifully seasoned. I've never actually been to the restaurant itself, but I order delivery regularly and never have any complaints.

The burger was delicious, but the place is not vegan friendly. The restaurant is small and stinks. I don't feel comfortable there.
