La Touche Finale - Pouancé

We have eaten at La Touche Finale on many occasions since Carole and Romain opened their doors for business; and luckily for us, we have the benefit of living no more than a kilometre away. This review is long overdue. Bright and airy and catering almost exclusively for the lunchtime trade you can enjoy an excellent three course meal for 12 euros excluding wine. The cooking is imaginative and well above that offered in many 'plat du jour ' establishments. Some quite decent wines at reasonable prices appear on the blackboard from time to time. Service is friendly and efficient and attracts local couples as well as 'ouvriers '. Due to its popularity, it is worth booking a table as we have heard of people having to be turned away. In fact since they opened, they have added a new room, almost doubling the size of the restaurant. We have eaten 'a deux ' as well as with family and friends and everyone has been equally enthusiastic.

Our local restaurant whenever we're in France as a couple or with our friends. Great choice of entre, main and dessert including some new menu choices this year. Always enjoy visiting! Great value €12 meal we always reserve as it gets busy.
