Usually I run scared of places with enormous menus but these guys seem to get all those options right. Just a great little midweek takeaway spot... I forget about it, very unassuming, which gives me a pleasant surprise every time I go there! View all feedback.
What Spencer Aufderhar doesn't like about KL Kitchen Restaurant:
Worst experience I've had at a Sydney restaurant in the last couple years. I ordered a roti and curry with rice, they gave me the roti soon after ordering yet my curry took over 40 mins to arrive afterwards whilst everyone else around was served well before this, and again they delay bringing my rice another 10 minutes. By the time I started eating, my roti had already become stone hard and cold. What restaurant does... View all feedback.
The restaurant allows you to bring your own alcohol, which is a positive aspect. However, it is quite small and not suitable for large, alcohol-fueled gatherings. The outdoor dining option at Llankelly Place would be enjoyable during the summer months, and KL Kitchen also provides takeaway for those who don't feel like cooking tonight. It is a decent alternative to Thai cuisine.
Coming from the dining scene of Melbourne, I can say that KL Kitchen is a restaurant which is among the best I have been to. They have a warm and friendly team of staff which attended to our every need. The portion sizes were great, although the Mama's curry could have been a bit larger. The flavours were exquisite and the pricing was fair. This is a must visit for a very enjoyable dining experience in malaysian-chinese cuisine.
Malay is one of my favourite Chinese variants; my hometown sports one a restaurant of this ethnicity that is, bang for the buck, one of the best restaurants
Let me start off by saying that I'm not an expert at all things Malaysian. But I've been to the +60 enough to know that NASI LEMAK IS THEIR NATIONAL DISH.
We need more Malaysian places in Kings CrossThis place is a start thoughI took a group of five people for dinner there recently.
